Scientific Computing in Chemistry

"We seek the molecular understanding of biological, chemical and physical phenomena from micro-meso-macro scale."

Within recent years scientific computing has had a dramatic impact on virtually every field of science and engineering. Scientific computing has revolutionized our ability to investigate problems in science and engineering while at the same time powering advances in information technologies that have touched virtually very aspect of every day life . Scientific computing in chemistry falls within this strong and fast developing research area.

We use scientific computing methods to investigate the dynamics of molecular perturbations, solvent effects, chemical reactions and molecular properties in homogeneous and heterogeneous environments. Presently, we target areas as biophotonics, solar cells, photonics and nano science.
